Day 2525

at home for Christmas,
people took turns attacking
the paper mache

For 7 years now, our family has made a tradition of beating the stuffing out of a “Christmas Pinata”. Each year, one of the six brothers takes a turn supplying the pinata. There’s been an Elmo, a pirate, a home-made cow head, and a devil amongst the past years’ pinatas. The event usually ends with candy and toys strewn across the basement and the with tears of laughter crowding out of many of our eyes. Here’s to holiday traditions!
